This video shows how to get started working socks top-down on double pointed needles (DPNs). It shows you how to cast on, work the first row, join in the round, avoid ladders, pick up dropped stitches, work right-side-out and count rows.
I recently got to the point where I joined the body and sleeves for the Galloway Cardigan (by Jared Flood). The process was easy following the well-written instructions in the pattern. Everything came together nicely and I'm progressing with the yoke.
I love this pattern! I like that the Brooklyn Tweed patterns don't skimp on pages, and they have so much good information.

On the last row of the body section of the Galloway Cardigan, you divide the fronts and the back by binding off stitches at the arm holes. This video shows the steps to do that following the pattern directions.
